Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
Step 2:
Add 2 cups of coconut into the mixture and mix until well combined.
Step 3:
Pour 1/4 cup of cream into the mixture and mix well.
The cream makes the coconut layer creamy and tasty.
Step 4:
Continue cooking the mixture on medium flame until it starts to hold shape.
Step 5:
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool slightly.
Step 6:
Once the mixture is cool enough to touch, form them into bar shapes.
Place in the refrigerator for an hour until it sets completely.
Step 7:
Melt the milk chocolate using the double boiler method.
Keep stirring until the chocolate melts completely.
Once melted, let it cool for a little bit.
If the chocolate is too hot, the coconut bars will melt when dipped.
Step 8:
Dip each coconut bar into the melted chocolate and coat them uniformly.
Place them on parchment paper and mark 3 lines on each bar using a butter knife.
Step 9:
Refrigerate the bars for at least an hour to let them set completely.
