Heres how to clean grill grates using aluminum foil.
Remove the grill grate and place on the ground.
If you want to use vinegar, add some on a spray bottle and an equal amount of water.
Spray it to the grate and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Step 2:
Get a sheet of aluminum foil and crumple it into a ball.
Step 3:
Take the foil ball and scrub the grill grates using it.
It will begin to remove all that debris that stuck on there from your previous cook.
If the fire is already going and its really hot, use a tong to hold the foil ball.
double-check to go down the nooks and crannies.
If its too greasy, just get another sheet.
