To keep your turkey moist and tender, I suggest brining it before deep drying.

Pull the turkey and the basket out.
Get a stick and place it inside the pot.
Mark the water level.
Remove all of the water.
Step 3:
Completely dry your turkey using a paper towel.

Set up the pot and propane at the spot.
Fill your turkey fryer with peanut oil up to the mark.
Turn on the propane and let it come to 350F.
