Sew these three strips together, press it open, then subcut it into 6 1/2 squares.
Sew the top and the bottom first, then the two sides.
Press the block open afterward.
Repeat these steps until you have enough blocks for your quilt top.

after you snag your quilt blocks, assemble them into four patches and sew.
Then, lay the quilt top into 4 across by 4 down.
