One of my all-time favorite dishes for dinner is anything that includes potatoes!
Wash the potatoes well, then peel off their skin, and slice them evenly using a mandolin.
Add the fresh garlic, then give them a good toss, and cook for an additional 30 seconds.

Slowly stir in the milk and lower the heat setting to medium.
Whisk them together until well combined and the cheese has melted.
Repeat the layers until youve used up all of the potatoes, sauce, and cheese.
