It holds its form well, which means the flowers wont fall apart easily.
You need 12 pieces to make one flower.
The grain direction must be parallel to the short side of the rectangle.
Step 2: Making the petals
Get three rectangles of crepe paper.
Stack them and place them on a flat surface with the short side facing towards you.
Fold in a zigzag pattern, also known as an accordion fold.
Secure the folds with floral wire by loosely wrapping and twisting it.
Do not tighten it yet.
Carefully separate the layers.
Start with the first layer, bringing it right up to the center.
Repeat for the rest.
Now, tighten the floral wire.
It should look like this.
Step 3: Assembling the flower

Then add the rest, twisting them in between.

Glue the end to secure.
Once dry, attach the flower to the stem, and you are done.
confirm it is sturdy enough to hold the flower.
