Stir everything until the sugar and salt dissolve.
Let them sit for about a minute then drain the water well.
Let it cool for a while.
Add as many as you’re able to, then pour the brine liquid.
check that the onions are fully covered.
Step 4:
Place the lid and close.
Let it cool completely, then refrigerate.
you might consume it the following day, but it will taste better after three days or so.
