Spoon your flour into the measuring cup then level it off with the dull side of a knife.
Never shove the measuring cup into the flour as it compacts the flour and youll get too much flour.
Just level the top.
Brown sugar
Dunk your measuring cup to your brown sugar and compact it with your hand.
It should keep its form when you invert it.
You want to see the line right at the mark.
Pour the sticky ingredient and get down to the level of your measuring cup.
The oil makes pouring it easier.
