I accidentally placed a hot pan on my wooden table, now it has this ugly white stain.
I was so devasted after that, so I immediately looked for solutions online and saw these tips byWeRefinish.
Yes, these actually worked!

I already tried them.
If you have white water rings and heat stains on your wood furniture, check these out.
Using an iron
Materials
Instructions
Place a dry cotton cloth over the watermark.
Set your iron on the medium setting.
Do not use steam, and keep the iron moving at all times.
Spray
Lightly spray it to the white stain just enough to make it wet.
In a short time, the white stain begins to melt away.
Once it goes away, feather the blush eraser with a brush to dry it out.
Dont wipe it dry with a rag.
Let it evaporate on its own.
Wood finish
Wear your gloves first.
Add some of the Restor-A-Finish into the steel wool and rub into the white stain.
Repeat until the white stains are gone.
Wood finish and thinner
Be sure to wear your gloves first.
Combine the 5 parts of Howard Restor-A-Finish and 1 part of lacquer thinner.
Apply it to the wood with the steel wool.
Rub until the white ring is removed.
