Heres a wonderful idea bywandee easy sewing, turn them into suitcases!

Measure 23 from the bottom and mark it.
Make a horizontal line from that point, then cut.
Set aside the top part.
Step 2:
Cut the denim on the side seams.
Trim off the side seams and the bottom hem.
Step 3:
Place one denim fabric right side down and trim it into a rectangle.
Do the same on the other piece.
Step 4:
Place them right sides together and stitch on the top part.
Place the pattern on the denim with one side just below the seams and trace it.
Cut out the rectangle.
see to it not to cut the seam allowance.
Press the seams open, then flip it.
Topstitch on the seams.
Sew around the edges.
Step 8:
Fold it in half crosswise and lengthwise to mark the middle points.
Fold one of the short sides up to the center point, then mark again the center.
Do the same on the other side.
Press fusible interfacing with the same size on the back of the two 8 squares.
Flip them and place the polyester sheets and linings on top.
Sew around the edges.
Measure 2 from all edges.
Measure 2 from both edges of the side seams and stitch.
Flip it right side out and sew the zipper.
Lastly, bind the edges and sew the label.
