Now, cut the minky to the size of the cotton fabric.
Pin around to secure it in place.
Take it to your sewing machine and sew it all the way around with a 5/8 seam allowance.
(verify to backstitch first.)
Leave about a 6 gap.
Now, pull the blanket right side out through the gap.
Stick your hand in the blanket and pop all the corners out nicely.
After this, pin the gap closed and sew all the way around using a 1/4 seam allowance.
