Running out of winter gift ideas?
It is probably the easiest blanket youll probably sew.
No complicated steps are involved.

All you need is two different fabrics in the same size.
The batting is optional.
If you want your blanket to give more warmth, add batting.
see to it you are using the right needle and configs for this project prior to beginning.
If you want your blanket to be warmer, add batting.
Step 2:
Place the next fabric on top, right side facing down.
Smooth it all out.
Trim them down to the same size.
If you are adding optional batting, lay it on top and iron it to get rid of wrinkles.
Trim it to the same size.
Pin all the way around the blanket.
Step 3:
Sew all the way around the edge, leaving a small opening.
Do what is best for your machine.
Remove pins as you go, making sure there is nothing folded underneath.
Step 4:
Turn it right side out.
Step 5:
Fold the opening, following the seam allowance, then pin it in place.
Step 6:
Top stitch all around the edges.
