For the first method, sew two 3 & 1/2 strips from different fabrics together.
Place right sides together and sew at 1/4.
Create a strip set as large as you would like.
Cut out your piece on all sides.
Feel free to cut out any shape or template you would like.

For the third method, sew up strips a little bit differently.
Sew your strips together in this order.
Grab a long quilting ruler and find the 45-degree line.
Before cutting, see to it to flip your piece or see to it youre cutting away from yourself.
