I have a favorite pair of pants that I wore a lot before.
My problem was that it no longer fits me, but I didnt want to throw it away.
It was easy to follow as it only involved basic sewing.

This will be measurement A.
Step 2:
Lay your pants on a flat table, right side down.
Measure from the middle to the left loop, then mark it in the center.
Draw a line from the top to the yoke.
Repeat with the other side.
Step 3:
Cut the lines with your fabric scissors.
They should look like this.
This will be measurement B.
Mark the middle of the width.
From the bottom and top corner, measure A + 0.4 inch.
Connect the marks to form a triangle, then cut it out.
Make another one for the other side.
Step 7:
Place the two triangular shapes on top of two rectangular laces.
Then sew on all sides except the straight bottom edge.
Trim off excess lace, then sew the bottom.
Step 8:
Place the sewn denim on each V, then fold the other half inside.
Secure them with pins, then sew them.
