This jelly basket quilt only requires one layer cake and one jelly roll.
The best thing about this quilt project is that it has little to no fabric waste.
You will use all the jelly roll strips for all the blocks.

Its 10 inches so cut it at 5 inches.
Step 2:
Cut four pieces of 10 jelly roll units.
Sew them in place with a 1/4 seam allowance.
Press each block open.
The block will measure 9 by 10.
Stack them and cut an inch of the end to get a 9 square.
Repeat with the remaining blocks to make the first row.
Continue for the rest of the row.
For the third row, repeat the first row.
attempt to use different blocks so the colors dont match.
Continue doing the alternating position for the remaining rows.
Add an inner border and an outer border.
