This small detail definitely made the quilt more fun!
Imagine using bright colors for the strips and light colors for the small squares.
I am sure it will turn out gorgeous.
Before starting this project, double-check you have enough thread, as you will sew long strips together continuously.
Do not unfold them and keep them in a stack.
Remove the selvages with scissors.
Step 2:
Get the first jelly roll on top.
Cut into an 18-inch strip.
Step 3:
Place your stack of jelly rolls and white squares beside your sewing machine.
Sew on the edge.
Step 6:
Get the end of your strip and one square.
Place them right sides together and sew.
Repeat with the remaining strips and squares.
Step 7:
Find the two ends, and place them right sides together.
Repeat the process until you have sewn 16 together.
Step 8:
Press it open.
Add the inner border and outer border.
