Sewing the strip sets for the jelly roll twist quilt

Next, select two jelly roll strips from your stack and stitch them together with a 1/4 seam allowance.

Press it open afterward.

Make 17 of this set.

Once done, take 11 of these strip sets to make your long piece units.

Line your ruler and trim both ends of the unit, then cut a 9 rectangle unit.

Youll get four long piece units from each strip set, making it a total of 42 pieces.

Step 2

Make the short piece units from the remaining strip sets.

From each strip set, cut seven 5 rectangles.

Make a total of 42 pieces.

Now, assemble the block.

Take one short piece unit and one fabric B and stitch them together.

Stitch with a 1/4 seam allowance.

Make 42 of these.

Make seven rows and sew these rows together to complete the quilt top.
