Theres nothing more fun than sewing old-fashioned patterns.

Last week, I learned how to make Jenny Doans easy Susannah quilt.

Its a simple block yet has its own charm.

For this project, you only need 2 1/2 inch strips of precut fabrics or jelly rolls.

Play with different colors and patterns for this quilt.

You dont need to worry if you are still a beginner, as this pattern is very effortless.

Step 2:

For the first one, cut it into 4 1/2 rectangles.

Cut them into 2 1/2 segments.

confirm to cut them before you iron them.

Open them and iron them.

You only need 4 of these segments for one block set aside the others.

Step 4:

Sew 4 rectangles on each segment with a quarter of an inch seam allowance.

Step 5:

Snowball the outer corner of the small blocks.

Trim off the just above the sewn line and iron it.

Repeat with the 3 more blocks.

Step 6:

Grab the 4 stacks and mix and match them.

Turn all the corners to the center to make a diamond.

Sew them into rows with a quarter of an inch seam allowance, then sew them together.

You need a total of 42 blocks 6 across and 7 down.

Step 7:

Put a sashing in between with the same size as your block.

For the sashing in between rows, use the same size and put a corner square in the middle.

Put in also on the top, bottom, and sides of the quilt.

Lastly, add the 2 1/2 border.
