Most of the patterns of my projects are flowers, as they are my favorite.
Seeing them in different colors instantly brightens my day.

This pattern byMissouri Starimmediately caught my attention when I saw it at one of my friends houses.
I made tons of this at home for my friends and family.

Repeat with the other colored strip.
You need four of these four of each colored segments for each block.
Set your seam and roll it back.
Step 3:
Make the four-patch by putting two segments in different colors on opposite sides.
Lay them together and sew with a 1/4 seam allowance.
Repeat to make a total of four.
Step 4:
Cut 4 pieces of 4 1/2 squares from the 10 square.
Step 5:
Get the background squares and press them in half diagonally to make a crease.
Place one of the squares on one corner of the 4 1/2 square and sew on the crease.
Trim just above the sew line and press.
Do the same to the other corner, the same top side.
Repeat for the remaining 4 1/2 squares.
Step 6:
Cut a 4 1/2 square from the 10 contrasting square.
Step 7:
Arrange your blocks as shown below.
Give it a final press.
