Place them right sides together and draw diagonal lines from corner to corner in both directions.
Step 2:
Sew on either side of the lines with a 1/4 seam allowance.
Cut directly on the lines, then cut it in half diagonally and vertically.
You should have 8 pieces.
Step 3:
Get the 5 solid squares and cut them in half horizontally and vertically.
Press them in half diagonally to make a crease.
Step 4:
Take one half-square triangle and place one 2.5 solid square in the dark corner.
confirm the diagonal line on the 2.5 square is parallel to the diagonal line of the half-square triangle.
Sew on the crease line.
Repeat with the remaining half-square triangles.
Step 5:
Cut the corners and press each open.
Step 6:
Get two blocks in different colors and sew them together forming a tent.
Repeat with the remaining blocks.
Make 14 rows with 3 pairs in each row.
Sew 3 pairs for each row first.
once you nail the rows, sew them together to make the quilt top.
