If you are unfamiliar with jelly rolls, they are pre-cut 2 1/2 print strips of fabric.
Finish this sewing project quickly with the help of Jenny Doans step-by-step instructions.
The block starts with a rectangle that is snowballed on all corners, creating an octagon.
After that, strip units are sewn on all sides to make a border.
The last thing to do is snowball it again on all corners.
Thats how easy this quilt block is.
Watch the video below for full instructions.
Stack the 1 1/2 units and cut in the middle to make 1 1/2 squares.
Step 3:
Take the centerpiece and place the 1 1/2 squares on all corners.
Snowball the corners by sewing diagonally from corner to corner.
Once done, trim off the corners.
Alternatively, you’re free to draw a diagonal line from corner to corner.
Place them on each corner of the block and sew directly on the lines.
Trim the corners and press it flat.
