This knot Celtic quilt block is an interesting pattern I discovered fromPatchwork Facils YouTube channel.

It might look like its too difficult to make, but its actually not.

This block consists of two units made from strips and squares.

They have the same pattern but use different colors to create the illusion that they knot together.

Making this quilt is absolutely fun.

Easy Knot Celtic Quilt Block Materials

Sew the red and blue squares together in pairs.

Step 2:

Get a 4.5 strip background and a 2.5 strip red fabric.

Place the two pairs on top of the red strip and sew them together.

How to Make Knot Celtic Quilt Block

Cut to make two units.

Step 3:

Sew the long sides of the units in a 2.5 blue strip.

double-check the small background square is beside the blue strip.

Press the seams open and flatten the block.

Step 4:

Repeat steps 1 to 3, but this time exchange the colors.

Use the red fabric for the long strip and the blue fabric for the L shape.

The two units should look like the photo below.

Press the seams open and flatten the block.

Step 5:

Arrange the units just like in the featured photo.

For the center, cut a 2.5 square from your background fabric.

Sew the units together to make the block.

Once done, press the block flat.
