There are tons of leaf quilt patterns, but this one byThe Melody of Sewingis my favorite.
Look at how beautiful this leaves quilt block is.
I love it because it is different from the usual patterns I have ever seen.

Believe it or not, this block is not as difficult as it looks.
The steps are not complicated; they are very straightforward.
Everyone can follow the instructions easily.
Aside from the pattern above, you’re free to also makeflower patterns.

Step 2:
Cut the unit into 5 3/4 inches squares.
double-check the seams of the squares go in opposite directions.
Next, place them right sides together, then draw a diagonal line, from corner to corner.
Pin it in place, then sew 1/4 away from both sides of the line.
Press each square open.
Trim each one into a 5 1/4 square.
Step 3:
Draw a diagonal line on all of the 2 background squares.
Place them on the corner top of the blocks just like in the photo below.
Sew directly on the line, then cut the excess.
Step 4:
Arrange the blocks in the same directions.
Sew them together in rows first.
Once done, sew the rows together to make the quilt top.
Sew the batting and backing.
Step 5:
Fold the 1 background strip in half twice, then press with an iron.
Sew the strip on the middle of each leaf just like in the photo below.
