This lemon lime refrigerated cake is the perfect summer dessertgreat for backyard barbeques or family get-togethers.
Its pillowy soft with a nice, fluffy cream layer.

It only needs a few ingredients and it tastes so delicious!

Mix together using an electric hand mixer for two minutes until nice and fluffy.
Once done, pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Place it in the preheated 350 degrees F oven and bake for 21 to 26 minutes.
After baking, poke holes all over the cake using a fork and set it aside.
Step 2
Pour 1 cup of boiling water and add 1 box of lime jello.
Whisk until dissolved, then slowly stir in 1/2 cup of ice cold water.
After this, pour it all over the cake and set aside.
Mix until combined, then spread it over the top of the cake.
Zest a lime over for garnish and then put some slices.
Place it in the fridge for two hours before serving.
