I have a new favorite recipe, and Im sure you will love it.

Step 2:
Add 1 cup of softened butter and 1 cup of sugar in a bowl.
double-check to scrape the sides while mixing.
Step 3:
Separate egg whites from yolks.
Add the yolk to the batter and whisk until well combined.
Step 4:
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, then mix until well incorporated.
Step 5:
Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence to the mixture and mix again.
Step 6:
Get the egg whites and beat until soft peaks.
Next, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, then mix for 1 minute.
Step 7:
Fold the whipped egg white into the cake batter little by little.
Fold in one direction.
Do not overmix it.
Now is the perfect time to add a bit of green food coloring.
Mix until well combined.
Step 9:
Pour into a cake tin lined with parchment paper.
Step 10:
Place inside the preheated oven at 350F and bake for about 1 hour.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a while.
Garnish, slice then serve.
