I am sure everyone at your home will love this dessert treat.
Grease your 9-inch round cake pan with butter or baking spray, then line the bottom with parchment paper.
Next, add the sugar and continue beating until it becomes light and fluffy for 5 minutes.
Whisk on medium speed for about a minute or until well combined and fluffy.
Turn the speed to low.
Next, add the flour mixture alternating with the milk and the strawberry reduction.
Mix until just combined.
ensure to stop and scrape down the bowl as needed.
If you want to add color, you could add a drop or two of pink food coloring.
After that, divide the batter among the two cake pans.
After that, let it cool first in the pan for 20 minutes.
Next, remove the cake and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
Discard the parchment paper.
Turn the mixer on low, then gradually add the powdered sugar alternating with a tablespoon of strawberry puree.
see to it to stop mixing and scrape down the bowl a few times.
Once everything is added, turn the speed to medium and beat until fluffy.
If its stiff, add a tablespoon or two of puree or milk.
Place the second layer and spread the remaining frosting all around.
Cover and keep at room temperature for up to 5 days.
