Easy Missouri Crossroads Quilt Materials

It is perfect for beginners, as it does not involve any difficult steps.

You will be making two blocks for this quilt afour-patchand a snowballed square.

I am sure you are already familiar with the four-patch block.

How to Make Missouri Crossroads Quilt

It is just four squares sewn together.

Both blocks are easy to make and beginner-friendly.

Cut in half horizontally and vertically.

Arrange them in a four patch making sure they are alternating.

Sew them together with a 1/4 seam allowance and press open.

You need two four patch blocks for each block.

Step 3:

Get a 5 print square and cut into 4 1/2 square.

Take another 2 pieces of 2 1/2 background squares and fold them in half diagonally to make a crease.

Place them on opposite corners on the 4 1/2 square and sew directly on the diagonal line.

Trim the excess and press open.

Step 4:

Arrange the four blocks just like in the photo below.

Sew them together like a four patch and press open.

Make 7 rows with 6 blocks each.

Arrange them in alternating directions.

Add the inner border and outer border.

Quilt, bind and have fun!
