Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner.
Step 2:
Pair the marked fabric B with fabric A.
Line up the edges, right sides together, and with the fabric B on top.
Sew 1/4 away from both sides of your lines.
Once done, cut directly to the drawn lines.
Repeat the process with the remaining 10 squares.
Step 5:
Lay out your modern bear paw block just like in the photo below.
Use the 4.5 background squares for the top right corner.
Next, sew the three top squares with a 1/4 seam allowance and press open.
After that, sew the big square and 2 blocks together, then the last top row.
Repeat with the remaining half-square triangles.
Sew with 1/4 sea, allowance, and press.
Create five more stars for the quilt.
