Its a great project to do on a weekend at home to pass the time.
For one block, you will need nine pieces of 5-inch squares 5 colored squares and 4 background squares.
Its one of the fastest quilt projects you will ever make.
Thats all you oughta do to create the block.
How easy is that?
I bet youll enjoy sewing this pattern.
Next, fill the spaces with 4 pieces of background squares.
Sew them in rows first with a 1/4 seam allowance.
Sew the three rows together.
double-check to match the corners.
Repeat with the other squares.
Step 2:
Take your ruler, come in 2 1/2 from the side and cut.
Do the same on the opposite side.
Next, rotate it so that the long side is facing you.
Place your ruler 1/2 from the short side and cut.
Repeat to the opposite side.
Now you have four strips and the middle block.
Repeat the process with the other blocks.
Arrange into a block just like in the photo below.
Start to sew the short sides first with a 1/4 seam allowance and press it flat.
Next, match the seams on the long strips to the working block, and sew them.
Press it flat and trim the excess.
Step 4:
Sew five rows four with four blocks each.
