I have already seen tons of star patterns fromMissouri Starand they are all equally beautiful.
However, this North Star quilt by Jenny Doan will always be my favorite.
The colors she used, fit perfectly for this project and I absolutely love them.

Although it may look complex at first, trust me it is easy to make.
The process is repetitive, when you obtain done two blocks, youll master it right away.
For the block, you will need 1 1/2-inch strips, 2 1/2-inch strips, and 2 1/2-inch squares.
First, you will make thehalf-square triangleand add two background strips on the sides.
Place them right sides together and sew corner to corner with 1/4 seam allowance.
Cut 1/4 away from the seam and press it open.
Cut the excess and press it open.
Sew the strip again on the other side of the colored part, then cut the excess and press.
It should look like the photo below.
Place them on the ends of the colored strips just like in the photo below.
Trim the excess corners off.
Step 5:
Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 two times using different colored strips.
Step 6:
Press the block open and you are done.
To make the center of the quilt, you need four blocks.
