Whisk until well combined.
Step 2:
Whisk in the egg yolks.
Whisk until it gets to your preferred consistency, which takes about 7 to 8 minutes.
If it sticks to the spoon, the mixture is ready.
Turn the heat off.
Step 4:
Add the butter and vanilla extract to the mixture.
Pour half of the pudding, then repeat the wafer and banana layers.
Lastly, pour the remaining pudding.
