Its soft, gooey, delicious, and low in fat!
Cinnamon rolls require proofing to get the fluffy and airy texture that we all want.
Aerate the flour before measuring.
Step 2:
Add the milk, oil, and egg.
Stir to combine, then beat on high speed for 3 minutes.
Add additional flour until a dough forms.
Step 3:
Flour your surface, then transfer the dough.
Knead the dough 150 turns for about 4 to 5 minutes.
Cover the dough with plastic or a bowl and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
Step 4:
Grease an 8-inch round pan.
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small mixing bowl.
Step 5:
Roll the dough on a floured surface until it measures 12 x 9.
Step 6:
Spread butter on top, then sprinkle the brown sugar cinnamon mixture.
Step 7:
Roll the dough from the 9 end.
see to it not to roll too tightly.
Arrange them in the prepared pan.
Step 9:
Place in a preheated oven at 350F for about 15 minutes.
Once done baking, let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Step 10:
Make the frosting.
Frost the cooled cinnamon roll, let it set, then serve.
