Panera undoubtedly has an extensive menu of great dishes, but I wholeheartedly love their broccoli cheddar soup.

Im telling you, it tastes exactly like Paneras.

Saute on medium heat until translucent.

Sauteing the carrots before adding the chicken stock

After about ten minutes, season it with salt and pepper to taste and a pinch of cayenne.

Add the minced garlic and continue to saute until fragrant.

Then, add the grated carrots, and after five minutes, stir in the flour.

After five minutes, add the half-and-half.

Mix it well and let it come up to a simmer.

After this, turn off the heat and add the cheese.

Stir the cheese in gently.

Once the cheese has wholly been stirred in, give it just one minute to melt.
