Just with these seasonings, you might already tell that its going to be good.
Once they are seasoned, they are fried with butter and olive oil.
That does not stop there.
The salmon fillets are then basted with honey butter and old bay sauce.
Squeeze of half a lemon, and its ready to serve.
Remove the thin parts as they are going to cook easily.
Mix until well combined.
Step 3:
Drizzle olive oil over your salmon.
Flip them over and do the same to the other side.
Generously season fillets on all sides.
Rub the seasonings onto the skin so they stick well.
Step 4:
Place a cast iron over heat and add the butter.
Once a bit melted, add some olive oil.
Add the seasoned salmon fillet and cook for about 7 to 12 minutes per side.
Flip it over and allow the other side to cook.
Transfer to a plate.
Do not remove the sauce from the pan.
Step 5:
Make the honey old bay sauce.
Add the honey and old bay seasoning to the same pan.
Mix until well combined.
Let it come to a soft boil.
Turn off the heat.
Squeeze lemon juice on top and serve.
