To make this present quilt pattern, you will need charm packs or layer cakes.
Charm packs are 5 pre-cut squares, and layer cakes are 10 pre-cut squares.
The block comes together easily and quickly, making it an ideal weekend project.

Press the seams and top flat.
confirm there are no folds.
Step 3:
Sew the 10 1/2 strip between the two pairs.
Iron the block open.
Flip over and press the seams toward the middle.
Step 4:
Take your background fabric.
Cut a 4 1/2 piece and two 3 1/2 pieces.
Take your contrasting fabric and cut 2 pieces of 2 1/2 squares.
Fold it diagonally in half to make a crease.
Sew on the crease line, trim, then press it open.
Repeat with the other end.
Sew the two 3 1/2 pieces on the sides to make the bow.
Step 5:
Sew the top row and box together to make the block.
Step 6:
Add a sashing on the left side and bottom of each block.
Once the blocks are sewn together, add a sashing on the other side.
