For the remaining squares, fold them in half diagonally, then press them flat with an iron.
Pin the layers together.
Step 3:
Stitch the layers together from corner to corner diagonally.
This will hold the quilt batting together.
After that, do a scant 1/8 just to hold the layers together.
Step 4:
Take the triangles that you folded and pressed in half earlier.
Each corner of the pad is going to match the corners of the triangles.
Take one of the printed triangles, and match the corner.
The raw side should be on the edge and the folded side on the inside.
Next, place one solid-colored triangle on the next corner on top of the first one.
Do the same for the next one using a printed triangle.
Put the first one back.
Step 5:
Fold the hanging loop in half, lift one corner and place it.
The loop should be inside and the cut edges are outside.
Sew all the way around with a minimum of a quarter-inch seam allowance.
Snip off the corners but do not go into your threads.
Turn it right side out.
