It is very easy to put together.

Center it on the wrong side of your background square.

Sew all around the edges as close as you’ve got the option to.
you might use straight stitch or zigzag stitch.
Cut the border about an inch all the way around.
Do the same process for all your blocks.
verify they all have the same size.
Line them up and stitch right along the sewn line.
Just about an inch in.
Be sure to look at the other side to verify you arent sewing into that block.
Press the seam allowances to open.
Fold the border as far as it can go, then lay it over the top.
Top stitch straight down the top.
Do the same to the other side.
Repeat the same process for the other blocks.
For the next row, do the same steps.
Pull the border, fold it once, and fold it over again.
