This quilt-as-you-go quirky fan block is a fun project byPattern Poole TVon Youtube.
I love how you could play with different fabric designs and colors for each fan.
This will surely be an eye-catching piece!

Next, cut the strip into 6 inches long.
Now you have a rectangle measuring 2 1/2 wide by 6 long.
You will have a wedge shape.
Take your template and hold it in place with a couple of dabs of glue.
Cut the fabric the same size as the template.
Do the same for the 3 remaining rectangles.
Step 5:
Place the batting on the backing.
Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner.
From the top corner to the bottom, measure 5 3/8 inches and make a little mark.
Measuring across from the top corner, measure 5 3/8 inches and make a little mark.
On the same corner, do it again but it should now measure 4 1/8.
Align the center bottom edge of the fan with the 5 1/2 diagonal line.
Double-find out if the fan is centered.
Secure it with a pin.
Step 7:
Sew a triangle onto the top edge of the fan.
Sew a quarter of an inch away from the outer border lines.
Next, sew the bottom triangle.
Cut the excess fabrics then press.
Step 10:
Make the border a quarter of an inch away from the marked lines.
