Lettuce is mostly composed of water.
As it loses water, it becomes soft and limp.
Storing it in the fridge can cause it to dehydrate due to moisture loss in the air.

If you find limp lettuce in your fridge, do not throw it out just yet.
Theres a simple hack that I use to make it crisp again.
I learned this trick a few months ago fromKrista Schmidts video tutorial, and it has been a game-changer.
Who knew you could revive wilted lettuce with this chilling hack?
If you love eating salads or lettuce wrap dishes, confirm to save this trick.
I bet this quick and easy tip will come in handy in the future.
Transfer to a colander spinner.
Place over a large bowl.
you’re free to also use the strainer and bowl of your salad spinner.
Step 3:
Bring it to your sink and run cold water.
Step 4:
Grab some ice cubes from your freezer and toss over the lettuce.
Let the lettuce soak until the ice melts.
The longer you soak your lettuce in ice-cold water, the better it will be.
Step 5:
Once the ice is melted, drain the water, then rinse your lettuce.
Use your salad spinner to dry your lettuce, then its time to make your salad.
