Once your pressure washer is primed, turn it on and use the clean nozzle.
Start removing all the first and grime.
Take your time and due diligence check that that you are not damaging the wood as youre cleaning it.
Back up a little bit and venture to avoid any fraying.
Once you are done, let them dry for at least 24 to 48 hours.
Step 2:
Wear your respirator and go all over the surfaces with 150-grit sandpaper.
This is not a mandatory step but it provides a professional look and feel to your fence line.
You dont need to produce a perfectly smooth finish, just clean the faces of each board.
Apply plastic to the back side of the fence, especially if its in your neighbors yard.
Step 3:
Stir the finish a little bit and fill the sprayer.
Attach the nozzle and test it on a test sheet.
Once you like it, move to your fence and work in sections.
When doing this, see to it you have a consistent few days at least without any precipitation.
It should be at least above 60 degrees.
Once you are done, remove the plastic at the back.
