Tangled upper thread
One of the main reasons why it breaks is due to tangled thread.
look to see if your upper thread is tangled around your machine.
Remove spool crap, unthread the machine, and replace it with a larger spool cap.
Now, rethread the machine.
To check, touch the edges with your finger or try pulling the thread toward the edges.
If your thread is getting caught, replace it with a fresh bobbin.
see if your upper thread is catching.
Some thread spools actually have a notch.
What it’s crucial that you do is simply flip the spool of thread over and rethread your machine.
You might have put the flat side of the needle to the front.
Most sewing machines will not let you put the needle in backward, but sometimes it can happen.
