I made it last night for dinner, and it turned out even better than we expected.
The flavors blew our minds.

The beef was so rich and tender, perfectly complemented with the melted cheese.
Dip it into the sauce for some added flavor.
This recipe is easy to make and comes together quickly.
It starts by searing the meat and then making the sauce.
Both are added to the slow cooker and are cooked for 8 hours.
Once cooked, the beef is shredded and added to the toasted bread, then topped with cheese.
Its super simple to prepare and absolutely worth making.
Step 2:
Drizzle olive oil over a skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the chuck roast one at a time.

Once the meat is seared, transfer it to a slow cooker.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Mix everything well, then pour all over the meat.
Step 4:
Place the lid and cook for 8 hours.
Step 5:
Once done, use a spoon to skim off the excess oil.
Transfer the meat to a plate and shred the meat using two spoons.
If you find any excess fat, verify to remove it.
Transfer the shredded meat back to the slow cooker.
Mix and let it soak for 30 minutes with the slow cooker turned off.
Step 6:
Slice the hoagies and brush with melted butter on all sides.
Place them in a 375F preheated oven and toast for 5 to 7 minutes.
This will be the dipping sauce for the sandwiches.
