Its very straightforward and quick to make.

Sew on the sides top and bottom not included) with a 1/4 inch seam allowance.
Repeat with the other layer cakes.
Step 2:
Get one of the sewn pair and cut it in half.
Now you have two pieces.
Repeat with the other pairs.
Step 4:
Fold one block on the end of the row and cut it in half.
Repeat cutting in half until you reach the other end.
Once done, set them aside.
Step 5:
Cut the background fabric into 9 1/2 squares.
Next, get one layer cake and cut it in half in both directions to make four squares.
Next, stack the four squares and cut them in half in both directions as well.
Place four of the small squares on the corners of one background square, right sides together.
Sew them directly on the crease.
Once done, trim 1/4 away from the seam line on four corners, then press them open.
Step 7:
Arrange your quilt by alternating the four-patch and snowball block.
For the second row, ensure that its alternating with the first row.
Repeat for the remaining rows.
When you sew the rows together confirm that the seams line up.
