Next, in a large heavy bottom pot over medium heat, add 1/4 cup of vegetable oil.
Once heated, sear the chicken on both sides until browned.
Once done, remove and set aside.
Saute for a few seconds, then add 1 heaping tbsp of cornstarch.
After this, add the chicken back to the pot and add 2 tbsp heavy cream.
Mix, then reduce the heat between low and medium.
Season with ground black pepper and 1 tsp badia complete seasoning, then add 1 whole bay leaf.
Lastly, add 1/2 cup of water, and cover the pot with its lid.
Cook for 20 minutes, then remove the lid and cook for a further 20 to 30 minutes.
(Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and burning.)
Serve over hot steaming rice or mashed potatoes.
