It created this incredible flavor that is so good when combined with brown butter.
Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until very tender.

Step 3:
Make the brown butter.
Add the butter to a heavy-bottom skillet over medium heat.
Once melted, it will begin to foam.
Continuously whisk while scraping the bottom.
Then it will turn golden and form golden brown bits, keep whisking.
Mix until it becomes creamy and smooth.
Add a splash of water or milk until it has the same texture as a very thick puree.
Step 6:
Add the cooled brown butter to the potatoes and mix until smooth.
Mix until well combined.
Step 7:
Pour the mixture into the pie crust shell and smoothen the top.
Step 8:
Preheat your oven to 350F and bake the pie for about 55 minutes.
Step 9:
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Add sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream when serving.
