Dont know what to do with fabric scraps?
Use them to make this string quilt byMissouri Star.
But that does not mean you should throw them away.

This quilt project is one of my favorite ways to reuse leftover 2 1/2 strips and 1 1/2 strips.
It is super fun and easy to make!
You dont have to worry about cutting the strips in the right sizes.
No need for measuring.
Place them on top of the square paper in a diagonal position from corner to corner.
Sew on one edge.
Sew on the edge and press open.
Keep repeating the same process until you fill up one side.
confirm the paper is fully covered.
Once done, do the exact same process on the other side.
Step 3:
Turn it over and use the paper as the cutting pattern.
Trim the excess fabrics.
when you land your square, rip off the paper.
Step 4:
There are different patterns you could create with this block.
you might arrange the blocks in the same direction and put sashing in between.
you’ve got the option to also arrange four blocks like a four-patch forming a diamond.
Take note that it is the same size as a layer cake.
you’re able to cut them in half to make a half-square triangle.
