you might make them in different colors or combine them with your flower blocks for a beautiful garden quilt.
Three strips in different colors are sewn together and then cut into squares.
Each piece is snowballed and then sewn in pairs.
The last thing to do is add sashing in the middle, and you have the quilt block.
Sew them together with a 1/4 seam allowance.
Step 2:
Cut the strip set into 6 1/2 squares.
Take four 2 1/2 background squares.
Place the first two on top of the first block at the right top corner and left bottom corner.
Sew them diagonally from corner to corner.
Trim the corners, open, and press flat.
Make two of each block.
Step 5:
Arrange the four blocks just like a four-patch, forming a butterfly.

Sew them in pairs, top and bottom pieces.
Step 6:
From your background fabric, cut a 1 1/2 x 12 strip.
Place it between the two units, then sew them together.
Repeat steps 1 to 6 for the remaining strips.
Sew the blocks together in rows with a 2 1/2 sashing between each piece.
