I am seriously addicted to this rich chocolate silk pie!
The filling has the most amazing taste and texture its all that I am looking for in a pie.

Step 2:
Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and crimp it as desired.
Next, line it with parchment paper and fill it with pie weights.
Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Step 3:
Get a medium saucepan.
Add sugar and cocoa powder, then whisk.
Slowly whisk in 1 1/2 cups of milk until well-mixed.
Place the pan over medium-high heat and let it simmer while stirring frequently.
Turn the heat to medium-low.
Mix until well combined.
verify to stir constantly.
Remove it from the heat and add the butter and vanilla.
Mix until melted and well combined.
Step 6:
Pour the mixture into the baked pie shell.
Place it in the fridge uncovered for at least 4 hours or overnight before slicing.
Serve it with whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top, if preferred.
