Next, cut a 2 & 1/2 strip for the sashing.
Then, flip it so you could see the selvage edges, and trim that off.
Now, take a square and attach a sashing piece right along the edge.
Sew it with 1/4 seam, then press open.
Repeat this process with all of your squares, then sew all of your rows together.
It also starts with a sashing and ends with a sashing.
Once you get your rows together, its time to put your sashing rows together.
Take your little 2 & 1/2 square and attach it to a 5 piece.
Sew with a 1/4 seam.
After this, you’re free to now lay out the quilt top.
