In this tutorial, she is joined by our all-time favorite Jenny Doan from the Missouri Star.
The trick to making it look like the one in the photo above is to preselect your strips.
Step 2:
Get 5 pieces of 2 1/2 strips and 4 pieces of 1 strips.
Arrange them just like in the photo below.
Sew them all together with a 1/4 seam allowance.
Step 3:
Measure the strip unit.
Cut the unit with that measurement to make squares.
Sew all the way around the outside edge.
Cut diagonally from corner to corner on both directions.
Repeat for the others.
Step 5:
Arrange the squares just like in the photo below.
